One of our favorite looks last night at the 8th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards belonged to none other than NYC based designer Rachel Roy.
Rachel looked exquisite in a black velvet skirt paired with a nude turtleneck and a shaggy faux fur vest at the event held at Skylight Soho. The designs are from Roy’s own collection.
Roy recently delved into the beauty world when she released a 10 color eyeshadow palette (which retails for $32) this week and we think she used her personal stash to complete her look!
Photographed against a wall of green leaves, Rachel’s ensemble recalls a very romantic 1970s woman who’s vulnerable eyes are gorgeous to look at! Equally doe-like and smoldering, they appear to be pools on wonder telling a story of love regained and lost.
