CNN reports that an arrest has been made in the Boston Marathon bombings.
Official says the bombing suspect is to be taken into custody by federal marshals and taken to a Boston courthouse.
Investigators are close to figuring out who planted the bombs that killed three and injured more than 180 at the Boston Marathon on Monday.
According to CNN:
The breakthrough came from analysis of video from a department store near the site of the second explosion. Video from a Boston television station also contributed to the progress, said the source, who declined to be more specific but called it a significant development.
The suspect is being described as a “dark skinned male individual.”
“Substantial progress” has been made in the criminal investigation into Monday’s marathon bombings, a Boston law enforcement source told CNN’s John King. “This is significant,” the source said.
