Teenage producer WondaGurl made headlines last week when it was discovered that she, a 16-year-old from Toronto, produced Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail track “Crown.”

Not only has WondaGurl produced songs for legends like Jay-Z, but she’s also produced songs for hip-hop newcomers like Travi$ Scott.

The Toronto native is not only responsible for Jay-Z’s “Crown,” but also Travi$ Scott’s Owl Pharoah cut “Uptown” featuring A$AP Ferg.

In the video, WondaGurl explains how the beat was passed down through Hit-Boy, Audio Push, Pusha T, and eventually landed in the hands of Travi$ Scott.

Watch WondaGurl break down how she produced “Uptown” above.
