Earlier in the year, the two rappers traded words on Twitter. However, after the media started reporting on the story, Lupe came out and said that it was all in jest.
Childish Gambino didn’t agree with the statement. And he said so when he appeared on the Breakfast Club yesterday. He said that Lupe had been sneak dissing him.
After the interview floated around for a while, Lupe went to his Twitter account, which is private, and addressed matters:
Childish Gambino has not yet responded.
OK, now that we covered that, here’s some positive news from both: Lupe Fiasco is about “85 percent” done with his new album, Tetsuo & Youth, and, according to the rapper himself, there won’t be politics on the project. He also said the album is comparable to Food & Liquor, his debut album.
And as far as Childish Gambino: his sophomore album, Because The Internet, will drop on December 10th. He fucking spazzed on this freestyle.
